We are all a bit stressed. We rush from school to work and back, to the supermarket, to the fitness centre etc. We often have little real time together. By doing yoga with your child, you’re taking the time to bond with your child, without words and in the form of a game, at your child's level.
Every lesson is built around a single theme which follows throughout the game. Here we work through different yoga postures, breathing exercises, a story, relaxation exercises or massage. You learn the advantages of child yoga in a playful manner. You are enjoying it together.
The ideal age of the child is between 6 and 10 years (1st-5th grade). No experience required.
This course is taught by Elke Janssens. She trained as a child yoga teacher at CVAO and Kreakatau. She runs children's yoga classes and yoga summer camps. Together with her daughter Elise (7 years), she runs these relaxing yoga classes for you to enjoy.
Bring a mat, a blanket and a pillow with you.
